La péricope 153 relate le début de l'épisode de la fille de Jaïrus à Capernaüm (février-mars 32). Dirigeant de synagogue, Jaïrus supplie Jésus de guérir sa fille unique de 12 ans. The multiplication of the loaves for the 5,000 people
The feeding of the 5,000 is a miracle attested to by all four evangelists, which took place near Bethsaida in April of the year 32. With only five loaves and two fish, Jesus fed a vast crowd, demonstrating his divine power and his shepherd’s compassion, and foreshadowing the Eucharist. The twelve remaining baskets symbolize the abundance of the Kingdom of God.
