• CTD023 Peter's denial?

This article examines the apparent contradiction in the Gospels concerning Peter's denial. It concludes that, although John and Mark present variations, they agree on the fulfilment of Jesus' prediction. The accounts are complementary, not contradictory.

And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
