L'article analyse pourquoi "Le champ du sang" est nommé ainsi, se basant sur les récits de Matthieu et des Actes. Ces récits ne se contredisent pas mais offrent des perspectives théologiques et populaires: l'achat avec le "prix du sang" et la mort de Judas.
